Marketing Solutions for Highly Skilled Professionals

For this project, I wanted to express a feeling by layering sounds over a video of my kid playing in a puddle. At one point in the video, my other daughter warned me not to get my camera wet and I love the way her little interjection pulls you out of the scene you’re watching and makes you think about the trajectory of the water being splashed around.

I layered a few tracks of audio to add to the juiciness of the sound. First I recorded a small stream of water from my kitchen sink falling into a bowl of water, then the faucet on full blast filling a pitcher, then I recorded the sound of pouring the pitcher of water down the sink.

I enjoyed making this and I’m pretty happy with the finished product.
